About / Masthead

Progress, with people at the center.

Next for Humanity is an independent publication and ideas studio for people building with powerful technology—and unwilling to treat human agency as collateral damage.

Who publishes this

Allen Sterling founded Next for Humanity and is writing How AI Saved Humanity in public here. Original analysis is also published by the research desk and studio desk, with the responsible desk named on every article.

What we follow

Our core subjects are artificial intelligence, frontier technology, security, advanced manufacturing, money and commerce, and human potential. We look for consequential shifts, the systems around them, and the practical choices that determine who benefits.

How the publication is supported

Next for Humanity may earn revenue from subscriptions, clearly labeled sponsorships or affiliate relationships, and products built by the same team. Sterling CoWorker is an owned product. We disclose that relationship wherever it appears and do not sell editorial judgment to a sponsor.

How AI is used

AI may support research organization, outlining, editing, and production. A named human editor remains accountable for publication, factual framing, source selection, disclosure, and corrections. AI-generated claims are not treated as sources.
